Tennessee legislators will have a hearing on October 29th to discuss Tennessee civil asset forfeiture laws. During this hearing, legislators will hear from government agencies and taxpayer-funded lobbyists who will tell them your Constitutional rights do not matter.
They will tell legislators that they cannot be inconvenienced by your due process and the concept of “innocent until proven guilty.” They will say they must have the right to permanently seize your property without a criminal conviction.
The best way to stop this is to make sure your voice is heard!
