Who We Are
The Appalachian region covers nine counties in the eastern most part of the state. Each county is as unique as the people who reside within that area. From the college town of Johnston City to the home of former president Andrew Johnson in Greenville. The Appalachian region has a long and proud history of rebellion and standing against government over reach. From the revolutionary war to being a large manufacturer of illegal moonshine during prohibition. We welcome all that choose to move here for the low property cost and clean air and water. From my home to yours, welcome and we hope to be able to work with you to make Tennessee freer in our lifetimes.
Christopher Darnell is a Kingsport native with deep family ties to the region. The father of 2 and husband strives to increase the parties reach and involvement in the communities that he grew up loving and missing while he spent the majority of his young life overseas as his parents were working for the State Department. After graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Army. After the conclusion of his service he was finally able to return to his home town and start doing the work that is required of him to ensure that his children grow up with more freedoms than him.
