Conducts regular Committee meetings, coordinates with all committee team members, and ensures progress is being made towards all goals.
Fill in for any vacant positions within the committee as needed
Report to the Executive Committee on the activities of the committee, and report to the committee any actions of the party or the Executive Committee which impact the committee
Coordinate with other committees to ensure that the mission of the party is effectively achieved

Assist the Director, and step in to take over in the event the Director is unable to fulfill the duties of the Communications Committee.
Newsletter Coordinator – Vacant
Draft and publish an LPTN Newsletter to the e-mail list of registered state party members which includes Party news items, themed messages, and state party initiatives.
Work with the IT Committee to publish the newsletter
May build a team of volunteers to collect and write material.
Send Tennessee Affiliate News to the National LP several times per year for publication in their hard-copy newspaper/letter.
Press Relations Secretary – Vacant
Write Press Releases as needed to fulfill the missions of the state party.
Identify press opportunities, report them to the Executive Committee, and execute press releases as needed.
Maintain and update a list of media contacts used for press releases
May build a team of volunteers to collect and write material.
Social Media Team – Adam Fargo, Rachael Torrance
Maintain the social media for the state party including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
Share information such as: promoting county, regional, or statewide party events, publication of newsletters or press releases, candidate information from campaigns, and any other materials the Social Media Director feels deserves attention.
Ensure content aligns with the state party’s mission
Maintain communication with the Executive Committee
Audio Visual Designer – Keith Nolan, Jack Warren
Assist in projects such as making promotional video work for upcoming events at the county, regional, and statewide level.
NOT responsible for the video needs of individual campaigns, though they are free to volunteer their time on these projects so long as it is not at the expense of State Party projects
Graphic Artist – Vacant
Assist in projects such as making promotional artwork for upcoming events at the county, regional, and statewide level, and to help with artwork and banner creation for the State Party website and social media accounts.
Works with the merchandising director to design products for the state store
NOT responsible for the graphic art needs of individual campaigns, though they are free to volunteer their time on these projects so long as it is not at the expense of State Party projects.
